Branden joined FSA in 2023 with the primary role of assisting Tribes and Tribal Enterprises with financing and project development. Prior to joining FSA, Branden was a Senior Vice President in the Native American Financial Services group at Umpqua Bank, and was in the banking industry for nearly 20 years. His experience in Indian Country includes gaming and hospitality, government infrastructure, and an array of Tribal economic development enterprises, which has helped Tribes access over $5 billion in loan commitments. He has a passion for providing financial solutions to Tribes, has spoken at Native American conferences on the topic of Tribal financing, and also enjoys teaching financial education to Tribal members through Financial Beginnings.

Branden is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno where he earned his Bachelor’s of Science (Information Systems) degree as well as his MBA (Finance).
